BALLZINGA – THE ULTIMATE HEAVY HITTER

Pure convection, maximum power. The Ballzinga is Dreamwood's answer to the demand for extremely powerful desktop solutions. As a "ball vaporizer," it utilizes a filling of high-quality glass spheres as a massive heat reservoir. The result is an enormous thermal mass that enables incomparably even and efficient extraction.

Innovative design & craftsmanship : Genuine craftsmanship meets laboratory precision. The hand-turned wooden handle is held in place by a specially developed stainless steel wire clamp. This design minimizes heat transfer from the hot glass to the handle. The heating element is made of 99% glass, complemented by just two fine stainless steel filters for absolutely pure flavor.

TEMPERATURE GUIDE (PID CONTROLLER):

For optimal results, we recommend using heating coil with a bottom. (axial coil).
Suitable for coils with a diameter of 20-30 mm.
Depth at least 25 mm, ideally 50 mm for maximum coverage

Important note regarding temperature setting: "Please note that the temperature displayed on the PID controller does not always exactly correspond to the actual temperature at the heating coil or inside the vaporizer. Each device is unique, made from natural materials and metal.

For the optimal experience, we recommend:

Target temperature: The actual temperature at the coil/vaporizer should be between 190°C and 230°C for efficient vaporization.
One-time calibration: We recommend using an infrared or contact thermometer during the initial setup. This will help you determine the value your PID display needs to show (this is often significantly higher than the target temperature!) to achieve the ideal internal temperature.
Tuning: Gradually adjust to find the optimal temperature! Every setup reacts differently!
Starting temperature: We recommend starting at approximately 375°F/190°C to get a feel for the device."
Terp Chaser (375°F/190°C - 420°F/215°C): Low temperatures for maximum flavor and smooth vapor.
Heavy Hitter (450°F+/230°C+): Maximum extraction for dense, massive clouds (Caution: Be aware of glass stress!).

SCOPE OF DELIVERY:

  • Ballzinga Heater (NS18 glass tube with integrated glass sieve)
  • Glass beads (high-quality laboratory glass)
  • Handcrafted wooden handle including stainless steel clamp
  • Suitable wooden head (NS14, 16mm herb chamber)
  • Replacement sieves, Woodwax

APPLICATION & PERFORMANCE TIPS:

  1. Check: The Ballzinga arrives fully assembled. Before first use, please briefly check that the sieves and wire clamp are securely in place.
  2. Heating up: Switch on the controller. The depth of the glass body (up to 50 mm) ensures perfect heat retention inside. It takes a few minutes until everything is heated evenly (5-10 minutes).
  3. Filling: Loosely fill the wooden head with herbs and press down slightly (do not pack tightly).
  4. Vaporizing: Hold the heated Ballzinga to the head and inhale. After 2-3 puffs, the vapor will subside and the Ballzinga will need to be reheated.

💡 Pro tip: Manual heating
When heating with a jet burner, there's a simple trick: when the flame changes color and glows orange on the glass, the vaporization temperature has been reached. Caution: Do not heat beyond this point to avoid the laboratory glass beads sticking together!

💎 Upgrade tip: Ruby Balls
For extremely high temperatures, we recommend replacing the laboratory glass beads with rubies . These can withstand significantly higher temperatures without clumping and offer even better heat retention.

⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Risk of burns: You are working with exposed, extremely hot glass and a heating coil.
  • Material protection: Manual heating with a jet torch can cause the glass beads to melt or stick together. The use of a PID controller is strongly recommended.
  • Ball check: Make sure the sieve is securely in place. If hot balls fall out, there is a risk of fire and injury!
  • Disclaimer: This is a prototype for experienced users. Use at your own risk.
