Operating instructions: Dreamwood "Roasty" (conduction)

What is the Roasty?

The Roasty is a minimalist conduction vaporizer. Unlike our other models, the herbs are vaporized here through direct contact with the heated borosilicate glass. The glass serves as a clean heat source and guarantees an absolutely unadulterated, pure flavor.

Preparation

  • Filling: Push your herbs into the end of the glass tube. Press them down lightly so they have good contact with the glass wall, but make sure that the airflow is not blocked.

  • Visual inspection: Since the tube is transparent, you can inspect your material at any time.

Use as a herbal vaporizer

  1. Heating: Direct the flame of your jet lighter towards the area of ​​the glass containing the herbs. Rotate the Roasty slightly to ensure the glass heats evenly.

  2. Testing: Heat the glass for a few seconds, remove the flame and take a test puff.

  3. Repeat: If no steam is produced, heat the tube for another 2–3 seconds and test again. Repeat this until the desired steam output is achieved.

  4. Conclusion: Once the herbs have reached a dark brown color , the active ingredients have been extracted.

Use as a dab stick (extracts/concentrates)

The Roasty is ideally suited for concentrates:

  1. Heating: Heat the tip of the empty glass tube with the jet lighter until the flame starts to radiate orange light from the glass (a sign that the correct temperature is reached).

  2. Dabbing: Carefully dip the hot glass tip into your extract and inhale at the same time through the mouthpiece.

Professional tips for roasting

  • Heat management: The glass stores the energy. After the first few puffs, you usually need to reheat it for a significantly shorter time than at the beginning.

  • Cleanliness: Clean the glass tube regularly with isopropanol to preserve the perfect taste.

  • Gas quality: Here too, the rule is: Use highly purified butane gas (filtered at least 7 times). Clean combustion produces only water vapor and a small amount of CO₂ . This protects the glass from soot buildup and protects you from pollutants.

⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

The borosilicate glass stores heat extremely efficiently. The tube remains very hot for a long time after use.

  • Never touch the heated end with your skin.

  • Only place the Roasty on heat-resistant surfaces.

  • Allow the glass to cool completely before storing or cleaning it.
